For the second time this month, Bryan police investigate a crash involving a driver who had a medical condition. A BPD spokesman says during Wednesday afternoon’s (November 12) commute, six vehicles were involved in a collision at Harvey Mitchell Parkway and Leonard Road. The driver that caused the crash was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. That driver was headed south and approaching the intersection when their vehicle accelerated into five vehicles that were slowing down or had stopped for a red light. No other drivers were injured. And the intersection was closed for about one hour.
