The punishment given in Brazos County district court last Friday (March 27) to 58 year old Audrea Constancio of Bryan also includes up to six months in prison for what is known as shock probation.
That’s after she pleaded guilty to felony theft and felony misapplication of fiduciary property.
A spreadsheet provided by the prosecutor shows Constancio took money that was collected from Texas A&M football fans who parked at College View during the 2018 through 2022 seasons.
The shock probation for felony theft was part of a ten year prison sentence.
The shock probation for misapplication of fiduciary property was part of a suspended two year state jail sentence.
The prosecutor in the case told WTAW News she asked for shock probation in order to be able to get the restitution.
The prosecutor also said the probation department recommended Constancio be placed on probation with no jail time. The defense asked for deferred adjudication, which is another form of probation.
At the time of Constancio’s arrest in September 2023, CSISD superintendent Tim Harkrider issued a statement that said in part “since discovering these campus-based accounting irregularities, CSISD has implemented additional procedures which will help prevent this from happening in the future.”
