Two Bryan Police Detectives Skip Lunch To Catch Thieves

Lunch for two Bryan police detectives on Monday was delayed after seeing three men walking faster than normal into the T-Mobile store on East 29th.

Officer Kelley McKethan says before the detectives could get out of their car, the three men were already out of the store.

McKethan says as the detectives followed the getaway car, they had 9-1-1 call the store on East 29th to check if there a theft.

Once a theft was confirmed, the car was stopped in a parking lot near Villa Maria and Briarcrest.

One stolen phone was in the car and the second was found damaged outside the store.

Three Houston men were arrested.

18 year old Gary Cummings, Jr., 18 year old Michael Dwayne Anderson, and 19 year old Jamar Anderson are out of the Brazos County jail after each posted $10,000 dollar bonds.
