Brazos County Commissioners Court Votes to Enact Burn Ban In Brazos County

Brazos County now becomes the sixth county in the Brazos Valley to institute a burn ban.

Commissioners Court voted today to enact the ban. The path of Tropical Storm Edouard is uncertain and is currently projected to follow a track along and east of Interstate 45. Any rain we receive would not necessarily be sufficient enough to negate the need for a ban.

The last remaining county in the Brazos Valley without a burn ban is Burleson County. And the Snook VFD took to Facebook to say that they wish their county was under a ban.
