It was a scary night for three College Station women after they woke up to a stranger in their apartment.
College Station Police were dispatched to The Heights apartments in the 3000 block of Holleman Drive South just after 1:00am Sunday morning for a report of an unknown man inside the residence.
One resident told officers she woke up to find a man standing inside her bedroom. Police found 18-year-old Cole Matthew Brawley passed out on the couch.
Officers say Brawley was so intoxicated and difficult to arouse that they had to perform sternal rubs to get his attention. He claims he thought he was at a friend’s apartment, but none of the women knew the man or had given him permission to be in the apartment.
He allegedly told officers, “I don’t want to lie to you, I’m drunk.” Brawley was arrested for Criminal Trespass of a Habitation.
During the arrest, he was found to be in possession of a nicotine vape, so he was also charged with Minor in Possession of a Tobacco Product. He was released from jail on Sunday on $3,000 bond.
