For the third time in less than three weeks, two Bryan men are in jail. According to the arrest report from Bryan police, 20 year old Armando Perez and 18 year old Frank Blanco were passengers in a car that was stopped because the registration expired in November. Perez, who laughed at an officer and said he was high on marijuana, was arrested for unlawful carrying of a weapon and possessing a handgun reported stolen from Burleson County that had a loaded magazine. Perez, Blanco, and the driver of the car were arrested for possession of marijuana. The driver of the car, 17 year old Felix Ponce of Bryan, was also arrested for failing to identify himself and possessing a trace amount of cocaine. According to online jail records, this is Blanco’s seventh arrest since May. And all three were out on bond from arrests two weeks ago for three vehicle burglaries.
A Bryan man and a College Station woman have been arrested on charges of breaking into a paintball business. According to the arrest report from the Brazos County sheriff’s office, 20 year old Kizer Bomnskie and 19 year old Jennifer Lewis were seen by the businessowner on the grounds Saturday afternoon playing paintball, using equipment that was reported stolen earlier in the week. The couple is accused of taking about $2,000 dollars of paintball guns and related accessories. According to online jail records, this was Lewis’s third arrest in December. She was out on bond from two prior arrests for drunk driving, the first also involving a crash. Bomnskie was out on bond from an arrest two weeks ago for misdemeanor possession of marijuana.
An Angleton man is now accused of committing ten vehicle burglaries in north Bryan four weeks ago. Two more counts were added last week against 24 year old Andre Densey. He is in the Brazos County jail on bonds totaling $144,000 dollars. Densey, who according to jail records has more than two prior convictions for vehicle burglaries, was caught about four in the morning on December fifth by a Bryan police officer who stopped after seeing a car parked on the wrong side of Tabor Road near the freeway.
Bryan police discovering around 100 vehicles parked outside a convenience store at two in the morning on New Year’s Day led to one arrest. 21 year old Daundre Foley of Bryan is accused of placing a plastic bag containing several smaller bags of marijuana under one of the parked cars at the Chevron at Highway 21 and West William Joel Bryan, then failing to stop when told to by an officer. Foley was found about three blocks away on the ground near a carport. According to online court records, Foley is awaiting a jury trial on a charge of aggravated assault with a motor vehicle from September 2016.
