The Bryan city council approves the first changes in the fee schedule for parks and recreation programs and services since August of 2021.
Deputy city manager Hugh Walker and city manager Kean Register said this follows studying Bryan’s fee schedule compared with cities with similar parks departments.
Walker noted there were some increases or first time additional fees charged to non residents.
And there is a new $50 dollar cleaning deposit to rent a park pavilion area.
What the council approved was recommended by Bryan’s parks and recreation advisory board last November.
