New Traffic Pattern And Controls Around South Knoll Elementary

Traffic patterns around another College Station public school are changing.

Modifications approved by the city council surrounding South Knoll follows earlier action impacting Oakwood, A&M Consolidated middle school, and Campus View high school.

At South Knoll, the council voted to ban stopping, standing, and parking along Langford and Boswell streets and making Boswell one way all the time.

John Nichols says the changes at South Knoll started when school administrators reached out to the police department.

Blanche Brick, who picks up grandchildren at Creekview, says the city and CSISD have to plan for increased traffic at future campuses.

In another part of town, councilman Steve Aldrich says action needs to be taken now to ensure enough room around newer schools along Greens Prairie Trail.
