Friday Night Lights at Kyle Field

COLLEGE STATION—Texas A&M head football coach Kevin Sumlin and the Aggie football team will conduct “Friday Night Lights” this Friday (Apr. 1) at Kyle Field beginning at 8 p.m. The scrimmage is open to the public.

“The players have been working hard and I hope we have a great crowd Friday at Kyle Field,” Coach Sumlin said. “This will be a great opportunity for our players to perform in front of the 12th Man.”

The free scrimmage is set to begin at 8 p.m. central and the setup will be much like a Midnight Yell Practice. Security will check bags like Midnight Yell Practice and fans are reminded not to video the event. The gates at the southeast and northeast corners of the stadium will open at 7 p.m. and fans need to remain in the east side of the stands.

Fans may park for free in lots 48, 62 and the 100 lots surrounding Reed Arena. Pay parking is available in the University Center parking garage as well as the West Campus parking garage. Lot 61 will be closed.

The Texas A&M spring football game is scheduled for Saturday, Apr. 9 at 5 p.m. at Kyle Field. Tickets are currently available online at 12thMan.com for $5 and college age and under are admitted free to the spring game.
