Correction to Story About Free Tuition to Veterans and Dependents at A&M

There is a correction to our story about the future of free tuition for veterans and dependents at Texas A&M University.

President Bowen Loftin said he wants to get permission from the Board of Regents to ask state lawmakers to pick up the tab instead of Texas A&M for what is not covered by the GI bill.

Texas A&M administrators said 7 million dollars of free tuition is going to 921 veterans and their dependents. Dr. Loftin said he would like to see more state funding to help cover those costs.
