College Station School Board Members Set Next Year’s Pay Schedule

The College Station school board approves what the district describes as its most aggressive pay plan in years.

Board members and administrators say the pay schedule reflects the spirit of additional money given by state lawmakers during the recently completed legislative session.

Unanimous approval was given to teacher pay raises between $1,800 and $2,800 dollars. That represents raises between 3.6 and 5.6 percent…depending on experience. Those percentages also apply to CSISD librarians, counselors, and nurses.

Four percent pay raises are being given to CSISD clerical staff, classroom aides, bus drivers, maintenance staff, cafeteria workers, and custodians.

Three percent raises are going to non-teaching professional employees.

And two percent raises are going to central office and campus administrators who are on two-year contracts.
