College Station School Board Holds Its Annual Review Of Campus Enrollment Numbers

College Station school board members and staff are relieved to have enough buildings to not have overcrowding issues in the short term.

That was among the takeaways from board president Jeff Harris following the board’s second annual review of campus enrollment numbers.

Eight CSISD campuses are within capacity limits this year. They are College Hills, Creek View, Forest Ridge, Rock Prairie, South Knoll, Southwood Valley, and Spring Creek elementaries, and College Station High School.

Eight more are under capacity. They are Pebble Creek elementary, all three intermediate schools, all three middle schools, and Consolidated High School.

The only campus over capacity is Greens Prairie elementary. The maximum is 726, this year’s enrollment is 743, and next year it is projected to be at 556 with the opening of River Bend elementary.
