College Station ISD School Board Sets Qualifications For Next Superintendent And Gives Current Employees First Chance To Apply

The College Station ISD school board has set the qualifications for the next superintendent and gives current employees the first chance to apply.

Unanimous votes during Monday’s special meeting included a job posting that follows board policy and adds three requirements.

The additional requirements are having a superintendent’s certificate, campus principal experience, and experience as a superintendent or deputy superintendent.

According to the job posting, internal candidates have until February 24 to apply.

Board president Michael Schaefer says interviews with internal candidates can also take place within the application period.
