Bryan Man with Active Warrant from Harris County Arrested in College Station

A man with his first name tattooed on his hand is arrested for false identification after giving a different name to a College Station police officer. Bradon Lekeith Hall, 32 years-old of Bryan, was a passenger in a car that got pulled over Tuesday night for not having a rear license plate light. When the officer asked his name, he told him it was Brandon. Dispatch alerted the officer that a man named Bradon with the same birthdate had an active warrant out of Harris County. The officer asked him to confirm his name and he said and spelled out “B-R-A-N-D-O-N” twice. According to the arrest report, due to the circumstances including the name Bradon tattooed on his hand, Hall was arrested for giving a false name and on the warrant for aggravated assault of a family member.

Bryan City Council Tables Rezoning Request For A Residential/Retail Development Near The RELLIS Campus

The Bryan city council is considering a developer’s proposal to build what would be the first residential and retail project near the RELLIS campus. The proposal calls for retail along Highway 21. Behind that would be multi-family housing. And behind that would be single family homes. The council at January’s meeting tabled a rezoning request for up to 90 days. Jared Salvato, who made the motion that was unanimously approved, said he could not make an educated decision about the proposed master planned community due the lack of details in writing. Mayor Bobby Gutierrez asked the developer for something similar to what was done by developers of east Bryan’s Oakmont community. Salvato, Gutierrez, and councilwoman Marca Ewers-Shurtleff were among those bringing up that this is the first development of its kind in the RELLIS area, and the council wanted to set the standard that will be followed by others. Troubadour Festival Returns to Aggie Park this Spring

Tickets are now on sale for Troubadour Festival on May 17, 2025 at Aggie Park on Texas A&M University’s campus. Chase Colston says the event is a Texas BBQ and music experience. “We’re a lot like other Texans, we’re very proud of two things and that is BBQ and country music. And we created an event to celebrate the best of both,” said Colston. Colston says the day starts by sampling food from 30 of the best pit masters across the state. “Folks who just live to cook and they love to cook a cuisine that is very special to Texas,” said Colston. Colston says this year’s music lineup includes JoJo DiSalvo, Jacob Stelly, Tyler Halverson, Hudson Westbrook, Josh Meloy, 49 Winchester, and Randy Rogers & Wade Bowen.
