Bryan Police Department Seeks Public Assistance in Ongoing Homicide Investigation

The Bryan Police Department continues to actively investigate the August 8th shooting death of 14-year-old D’Antwon Miles.

Investigators have conducted numerous interviews, reviewed available evidence, and followed investigative leads and tips, but they are asking for the public’s help. They are looking for anyone with firsthand knowledge of the events leading up to the shooting, the shooting itself, or the individuals involved.

Even if someone believes investigators may already have the information, they need you to come forward. Information provided by individuals with direct knowledge of what occurred may be critical to confirming investigative information, establishing the sequence of events, and holding accountable those who are responsible.

BPD says the understand some individuals may be reluctant to speak with law enforcement, but remind everyone that a 14-year-old member of the community lost their life.
