College Station City Council Awards Construction Contract To Rebuild A Portion Of Marion Pugh Drive

The new year will bring the start of a new street project in College Station.

The city council at its December 11th meeting without discussion, approved spending up to nearly $5.8 million dollars to rebuild Marion Pugh Drive from George Bush to south of Luther.

The project, which is supposed to take one year to complete, also includes replacing a water main line.

The amount of the construction contract is $5,064,684.90. The council also approved adding a contingency of $700,000 dollars.
