CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas (AP) _ Authorities say a woman whose body was found in the rubble of a Corpus Christi house leveled by an explosion was stabbed to death.
The body of 55-year-old Deletha Baker was found after Thursday’s explosion along with that of her boyfriend and her granddaughter. Authorities say the blast was intentionally set.
The Nueces County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the victims as Baker, her 42-year-old boyfriend, Jamie Flanagan, and her granddaughter, 14-year-old Nostalgia Baker. The Corpus Christi Caller-Times reported that the cause of death for Flanagan and Nostalgia Baker was still under review.
The explosion brought down the house and shattered windows of other nearby homes. Debris fell two blocks away.
