Weekend Arrests Follow Loud Parties in College Station And Racing In North Bryan

College Station police officers from the Northgate district were among those who were sent Saturday night (April 6) about five miles to an apartment complex. The CSPD arrest report says officers were told 200 people at a pool party were being rowdy and were smoking marijuana. And a security guard said he was having trouble removing unwanted guests. Two Houston men were arrested. 21 year old Jasachin Harris, who told officers to leave, was charged with criminal trespassing and evading arrest. And 20 year old Eyoel Abrha, who told officers to take the handcuffs off of Harris, was charged with criminal trespassing. A CSPD Facebook post said after the second arrest, that finally convinced everyone to leave.

College Station police responding Saturday night (April 6) to a parking complaint in the neighborhood east of Consolidated Middle School discovered a loud party. The CSPD arrest report says officers were attempting to issue a ticket for violating the city’s noise ordinance, the resident refused to identify himself. 25 year old Waylon Roosma is out of jail after posting a $4,000 dollar bond for resisting arrest and promising to make future court appearances on charges of failure to identify himself and disorderly conduct for violating the noise ordinance.

Bryan police find 75 to 100 cars Saturday night (April 6) after hours at the Bryan Regional Athletic Complex. That’s after receiving a call from someone witnessing cars doing burnouts, donuts, and racing on Texas Avenue. BPD arrest reports say officers caught a 17 year old driving a Tesla and a 20 year old driving a Challenger racing each other. Jail records say the driver of the Tesla, Jevalen Wade of Bryan, was charged with reckless driving and driving without a license and the driver of the Challenger, Jorden Farr of Bryan, was charged with racing. Both men are out of jail after posting $2,000 dollar bonds.
