Monday is the deadline to make sure you are registered to vote next month for city council, school board, and the College Station school bond issue.
Brazos County Voter Registrar Kristy Roe says the general elections will also include the constitutional ammendement election.
Anyone currently registered to vote needs to check their registration to make sure that his or her name and address are correct by Monday.
Roe says you can get a change form at the secretary of state’s website or pick one up at the MSC, libraries, or post offices, and submit completed forms at her office.
She says the forms are postage paid, but if you choose to mail one, it must be postmarked by Monday.
Roe also says there’s still time to get a government-issued ID, which is now required for voting.
She says some of the options include a driver’s license, a passport, a military ID, or ID issued by DPS.
Early voting begins October 21.
