There’s plenty of hustle and bustle going on this holiday season for Voices for Children-CASA of Brazos Valley.
The agency serving children placed in foster homes in Brazos, Grimes, and Burleson counties has four projects on its plate.
Executive Director Liana Lowey says Wednesday marks the start of their second seasonal fundraiser called the “12 Days of Christmas”.
Comments from Liana Lowey.
The $12,000 dollar goal will provide a CASA volunteer advocate to eight children in foster care living in Brazos, Burleson, and Grimes counties.
A second project, a holiday toy drive, wraps up (pun intended) on Thursday. Lowey adds it’s not too late to contribute toys or wrapping supplies.

The non-profit is also collecting volunteers for its “Operation Renovation” of its offices in mid-January.
Liana talks about “Operation Renovation”.
And applications are being accepted for the next round of CASA volunteer training.
