Villanova Men’s Basketball Coach Wright Retires

Hall of Fame coach Jay Wright is retiring after 21 seasons as the head men’s basketball coach at Villanova.

The 60-year-old Wright will now serve as a special assistant to the university president.

The move comes just weeks after the Wildcats advanced to the Final Four.

Fordham’s Kyle Neptune, who spent 10 years as a video coordinator and assistant coach under Wright, will become the school’s next head man.
