Video Game Assault Leads to Brother’s Arrest

PLANO, Texas (AP) _ A family feud in Plano over video games has led to a teen accused of assaulting his younger brother and their mom mad at police who arrested one of the boys.

Trey and Hunter Robinson got into a scuffle March 15. Heather Waddell-Robinson says she separated her sons, ages 17 and 16, after they argued over the volume of their video games.

The Dallas Morning News reports that Hunter called police, who arrested Trey. The 11th-grader is charged with assault with bodily injury and is free on $2,000 bail.

Waddell-Robinson, who says “all siblings fight,” has filed a complaint against the arresting officers. She says Hunter was not hurt and both boys remain with her.

She says the Department of Family and Protective Services is investigating. An agency spokeswoman declined comment.

Plano police did not immediately comment.
