UPDATE: Technology Helps Find Four Men Who Were Arrested for Armed Robbery at a College Station T-Mobile Store

Last Thursday’s arrests of four men shortly after an armed robbery of a College Station T-Mobile store was in part thanks to technology.

The arrest report from College Station police indicated the alarm company used by the store was able to track the movement of the stolen property.

The suspects, who ranged in age from 16 to 23, were apprehended in their car by Waller County deputies. The car was parked outside a convenience store and barbecue restaurant at Highway 290 and FM 362.

An undisclosed number of cell phones and other electronics were recovered, along with an undisclosed amount of cash and an Airsoft handgun that looked like a Beretta.

The manager, an employee, and one customer inside the T-Mobile store near Tower Point were not injured.

Four men were arrested Thursday for an armed robbery at the T-Mobile store located at State Highway 6 and Arrington Road.

According to the College Station Police report, two men entered the store, one armed with a handgun, and demanded property while a third suspect waited at the door.

Suspect and vehicle descriptions were relayed to law enforcement agencies to the south, which resulted in deputies with the Waller County Sheriff’s Office locating and arresting two men from Houston, one from Conroe, and a juvenile.

From CSPD:

On January 4, 2018, at around 1746 hours, officers with the College Station Police Department responded to T-Mobile located at 4400 State Highway 6 South Suite 400 in reference to a robbery that had just occurred. Upon arrival, employees at this location reported that two black male suspects entered the store at this location and demanded property while a third suspect waited at the door. One of the males who entered the store was armed with handgun.

Through the course of the investigation, information was received regarding the physical description of the suspects and their vehicle. It was also reported the suspects left the scene traveling south on State Highway 6. This information was then relayed to law enforcement agencies to the south which resulted in deputies with the Waller County Sheriff’s Office locating and detaining the suspects.
