With the start of the holiday weekend and the start of the summer vacation season, Stewart advises neighbors staying home to look out for their neighbor’s property while they’re traveling.
Stewart also suggests homeowners get outdoor video cameras to keep a watch on their property.
Stewart says to call 9-1-1 immediately if you notice any suspicious activity.
And Stewart asks those who don’t want to lock their vehicles to remove their valuables.
