Update from Bryan Police:
On August 20, 2017 at 11:00 p.m. Officers responded to the Town and Country Convenience store, located at 1401 N Texas Ave, for an aggravated robbery that had just occurred. Two black males entered the store with their faces covered and at least one suspect was armed with a firearm. They fled the store on foot with an undisclosed amount of money. No shots were fired and no one was injured.
On August 21, 2017 at 3:00 a.m. Officers responded to Hotel 6, located at 1601 S Texas Ave, for an aggravated robbery that had just occurred. Three black males entered the lobby with their faces covered and at least one suspect was armed with a firearm. They fled the hotel on foot with an undisclosed amount of money. No shots were fired and no one was injured.
At this time it is believed that the two robberies may be related. It is too early to tell if the cases in Bryan and College Station are related, however, the two agencies will be working together during the investigations.
Another armed robbery of a College Station convenience store:
Monday just before 4 a.m., CSPD officers responded to the Exxon Express on Harvey Mitchell Parkway for an armed robbery.
Two black men are accused of taking an undisclosed amount of money and property.
No one was injured and no shots were fired.

Adding attempted armed robbery of a Bryan convenience store:
A Bryan convenience store was the target of an attempted armed robbery early Saturday morning.
Police responded at 1:45 a.m. to the Raceway at East William Joel Bryan and Nash.
The armed suspect, described only as someone wearing dark clothing with their face covered, was not able to enter the store and left on foot.
No one was injured.
Original story:
College Station police believe the same two men committed armed robberies at two convenience stores on Rock Prairie Road in 22 minutes early Saturday morning.
The first, reported at 3:40 a.m., was at the Valero located at Rock Prairie and the freeway’s northbound service road near Baylor Scott & White hospital.
The second, reported at 4:02 a.m., was at the Tigerland Express at Rock Prairie and Wellborn Road.
At both locations the store clerks were not injured and no customers were inside.
The suspects in both robberies were described as two black men of thin build between 20 and 30 years old.
One was wearing black pants, gray hooded sweatshirt, and a dark colored bandana or mask on his face. He was armed with a semi-automatic pistol that was black in color.
The other was wearing black pants, black hooded sweatshirt, and a red mask on his face. He was armed with a black revolver.
