UPDATE: DWI Arrests Follow Two Tuesday Morning Crashes In College Station

A man was arrested Tuesday morning for drunk driving after crashing his car into a College Station restaurant.

According to the arrest report, 24 year old Leonardo Lopez of College Station entered the Ozona Bar and Grill parking lot at a high rate of speed, jumped a curb, and crashed onto the wooden deck and partially through an exterior wall.

No one was injured.

According to online records, Lopez is awaiting disposition on a DWI arrest from July of last year. And he was arrested three weeks ago on a charge of driving with an invalid license with a prior conviction.

A crash that closed the freeway in College Station for two hours Tuesday morning led to a DWI arrest.

21 year old Carlos Baker of College Station is accused of making an unsafe lane change while heading north on the freeway near Fitch.

Baker’s SUV struck a second SUV, causing the second vehicle to spin and come to rest on the concrete barrier. No one was injured.
