UPDATE: College Station Council Majority Consensus To Close Thomas Park Pool

Update:

A majority of College Station council members Thursday afternoon decided without a formal vote to close Thomas Park pool at the end of the summer.

City staff was also directed to create a citizen survey to determine what amenities should be added in the future.

After the council’s decision, which was made during their workshop, two people who live in the College Hills neighborhood called on the governing body to repair or replace the pool.
