UPDATE: Bryan Police Announce Arrest In Shooting That Hospitalized Two People

According to online records, Tyrone Franklin of Bryan was released from the Brazos County jail after posting bonds totaling $100,000 dollars.

Saturday morning update:
Bryan police announce the suspect in a Friday afternoon shooting that put two people in the hospital is in jail.

BPD tweeted 39 year old Tyrone Franklin of Bryan turned himself in at the jail early Saturday morning on warrants charging him with two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Franklin is being held on bonds totaling $100,000 dollars.

Friday night update:

Bryan police announce an arrest warrant has been issued following a shooting Friday afternoon that put two people in the hospital.

39 year old Tyrone Franklin of Bryan is charged with two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

According to a BPD tweet, anyone with information is encouraged to call your local police department or Crime Stoppers.

BPD says to not attempt to contact Franklin, as he should be considered armed and dangerous.

Bryan police report a drive by shooting Friday afternoon near the city cemetery sent two people to the hospital.

A 17 year old man from Bryan is in stable condition at a local hospital. A 22 year old woman from Bryan was flown by helicopter to a Temple hospital in stable condition.

BPD reports around 1 p.m. Friday, the victims were driving in the 1000 block of Dale Street…north of MLK and east of Texas…when shots were fired from another vehicle.

No arrests have been made.
