UPDATE: Boonville and SH 6 Intersection Reopens After Windmill Convoy Moves Through

Final update:

Bryan police reported at 1:20 p.m. the complete convoy has come through and the intersection of Boonville Road and the freeway has reopened.

UPDATE from BPD:

The convoy will be coming from Huntsville in three waves with 3 vehicles each, which hopefully will allow some intermittent traffic flow to continue. The first wave is anticipated to reach Bryan around 12:15-12:30 and the subsequent waves should be 30 minutes behind each other.

They will be turning North on the feeder and heading towards Waco.

The intersection of Boonville and Highway 6, in front of the Kroger shopping center, will be closed for two hours at some point this afternoon.

According to Bryan police, a convoy of nine truck carrying windmills will be coming from Huntsville and turning north onto Highway 6 to continue towards Waco.
