UNT System Relocates to Dallas

DENTON, Texas (AP) _ Leaders of the University of North Texas System are planning to formally announce the relocation of its governing offices from Denton to downtown Dallas.

The Dallas Morning News reports the governing offices relocated in late August to the Universities Center, where an event is planned Friday evening to announce the move.

UNT officials say the move was designed to create a central, neutral location for all the campuses.

The UNT System consists of the UNT campus in Denton, the UNT Health Science Center at Fort Worth, The Universities Center in Dallas and the UNT Dallas campus.
