TYLER, Texas (AP) _ A Texas man apparently chose the wrong time to allegedly impersonate an officer: while a real one was watching.
Tyler police said Sunday that a 22-year-old man faces a felony charge of impersonating a public servant.
An officer on patrol Saturday spotted a pickup truck flashing a red and blue emergency light and pulling over another vehicle in the parking lot of a hardware store.
Police say the driver immediately shut off the flashing light when the patrol officer approached the pickup. The man was arrested and the light was seized.
