TxDOT is proposing to reverse the ramps between Boonville Road (FM 158) and SH 21 along SH 6 in Brazos County.

As traffic along SH 6 continues to grow, operational improvements will help ensure adequate mobility is maintained throughout the area.

The proposed project includes:

Ramp reversal for entrance and exit ramps northbound and south bound between SH 21 and Old Reliance

Ramp reversal for entrance and exit ramps southbound between Old Reliance and Boonville Road (FM 158)

Auxiliary lanes between entrance and exit ramps

SH 6 improvements are already under construction between FM 158 and FM 2818; these ramp improvements extend north between FM 158 to SH 21.

Construction of the $4.9 million project is anticipated to begin in the spring of 2015.
