College Station police knew where to look for three teenagers who were seen breaking into a parked and unlocked SUV by the vehicle owner Friday at two in the morning.

According to the CSPD arrest report, two of the three teens were caught covered in mud and sticker burrs..and one without shoes…along the north city limits near April Bloom and Forest Drive.

That’s after the officer went to a path connecting the two streets after the suspects ran from the SUV.

17 year old Terrence Leggett of College Station told officers he was the lookout while the others were going to break into vehicles.

Leggett, who was out of jail on bond for evading arrest from Bryan police last month, is being held on a $4,000 dollar bond on the new charge.
