Two arrests for shoplifting at the Bryan Wal-Mart may have cleared cases at two other stores where a total of more than $43,000 dollars in electronics were taken.
Officer Kelley McKethan says Bryan police were waiting for two Houston men leaving Wal-Mart early Wednesday morning.
30 year old Jermaine Lang and 18 year old Darryl Kinney are accused of returning to the store less than a week after loss prevention officers say they filled a 45 quart cooler with 21 tablet computers then walking out with that merchandise and a fishing pole.
The total loss in that incident was $6,045 dollars.
Lang and Kinney are also suspects in taking $29,913 of cell phones from a Wal-Mart in Spring and $8,282 of electronics from the Wal-Mart in Huntsville.
They remain in the Brazos County Jail in lieu of bonds of $200,000 each.
Kelley McKethan visits with WTAW’s Bill Oliver.
