A Hearne man is in the Brazos County jail for the second time in four days and the 19th time in 11 years.

28 year-old Phillip Musia Jr. was arrested for burglary of a building the morning of New Year’s Day.

According to the arrest report, Brazos County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a criminal trespass call around 8:30 a.m. at a residence on Chick Lane.

A neighbor told the deputies he heard a loud commotion and saw a white pickup truck entering the property and that when he checked, the metal gate entrance had been cut. Another witness said he saw two women and a man walking behind the mobile home, and another woman sitting in an SUV that was parked next to the pickup.

The deputies found Musia and the driver of the SUV, 24 year-old Veronica Cornejo of Bryan near the mobile home and saw several things lying on the grass near it.

Cornejo was also arrested for burglary of a building. According to online records, it is her fourth arrest.
