Update:
A man and woman walking down the middle of Highway 21 in Bryan early Thursday morning were struck by a pickup and killed.
Bryan Police identified the victims as 45 year old Glenn Crawford of Bryan and 25 year old Shaina Sanders of Oklahoma, who has ties to Bryan.
Investigators noted it was raining and the roadway was wet at the time of the 4:45 a.m. incident. That resulted in diminished visibility for the driver of a F-250 truck who was headed east in the inside lane.
Officers also reported the driver stayed at the scene and has been fully cooperative.
No charges have been filed and the investigation continues.
Traffic on Highway 21 between Tabor Road and the freeway was blocked for about four hours.

Two people walking on Highway 21 in Bryan early Thursday morning were struck and killed.
Bryan Police report a man and woman were struck by an eastbound truck in the inside lane on 21 near Maple.
Identities of those who died are still being determined.
Officers were called out Thursday at 4:45 a.m. Traffic on Highway 21 between Tabor Road and the freeway was blocked for about four hours.
