Two Navasota men arrested for robbing one College Station convenience store are now accused in a second holdup.

22 year old Karvin Steptoe and 20 year old Kesnick Jones were captured Wednesday night after the robbery of the Shell station convenience store near the intersection of Welsh and Southwest Parkway.

College Station Police announced Thursday night they had evidence Steptoe and Jones also held up the Checkers convenience store Monday night at Welsh and Holleman.

Steptoe is accused of going inside the Shell store, firing a weapon, and robbing the store and the store’s clerk, and Jones was believed to be outside the store acting as a lookout.

College Station officers found one of the men about 30  minutes later near the store and the other was captured in Navasota with the assistance of Navasota Police and the Department of Public Safety.
