A Brazos County district court jury has convicted a Bryan man for an armed robbery that took place during a party at a College Station home almost two and a half years ago.
The jury then sentenced 23 year old Frank Chargualaf to 20 years for his part in holding up four people then stealing a vehicle.
He is also awaiting trial on charges since that case of a residential burglary and bail jumping.
According to the district attorney’s office, Chargualaf pulled a handgun from his waistband and demanded wallets and cell phones.
He was caught the next day, and the cell phones and handgun were recovered.
An accomplice, 21 year old Carlos Emilio Garcia of Bryan, entered a plea agreement last October where he was sentenced to ten years in prison and agreed to testify at Chargualaf’s trial.
