Killed was 20 year old Nathan Hardcastle of Cypress. Police say he was one of six people in a 2008 Dodge pickup that was pulling out of a private drive heading north on Harvey Mitchell when it was struck by 2006 Dodge truck that was headed south.

The woman driving the 2008 Dodge, 19 year old Taylor Leonard of Houston, died on Sunday.

Four other passengers in the 2008 Dodge and the driver of the 2006 Dodge were taken to local hospitals. Police report “several” are in critical condition. The names of the injured have not been released.

Members of the CSPD Criminal Investigation and Traffic Enforcement Divisions responded to the crash, which was reported Saturday shortly before 10 p.m. Harvey Mitchell Parkway was closed between Holleman and Luther for five hours.

The force of the collision sent both trucks across all lanes of Harvey Mitchell where they came to rest on the opposite side of the roadway.
