Bryan Police are investigating why a motorcyclist rear-ended a car on Highway 30 east of Harvey Road, ejecting the driver and his passenger.
Officer Lori Berndt says neither the driver, a 51 year old from Somerville, and his passenger, an 44 year old woman from Bryan, were wearing helmets.
Both are hospitalized, the woman in critical condition. The driver of the car did not have major injuries but was checked at the scene.
Berndt says the crash, which occured Thursday morning about 1:30, was on a four-lane stretch of Highway 30 at Pate Road.
Lori Berndt visits with WTAW’s Bill Oliver.
