Two Drug Arrests Combine For 45 Trips To The Brazos County Jail

Bryan police seized $41,000 dollars in cash during an arrest between Bryan High School and a local day care center….which are both drug free zones. According to the arrest report, an officer stopped a car because of a concern the driver was going to be involved in a disturbance or an assault. The officer found 363/$100 dollar bills in a backpack and almost $5,000 dollars in the driver’s pockets…including 170/$20 dollar bills. 30 year old Christopher Paul Young, Jr. of Bryan went to jail for the 24th time in almost 12 years for possessing three and a half pounds of marijuana, which has an estimated street value of $6,000 dollars.

A College Station man was arrested for possessing meth for the second time in five days. Online records indicate it’s the 21st trip to jail in 11 years for 29 year old Adam Crow. According to the arrest report, Crow’s latest arrest by College Station police followed an argument with his girlfriend. Investigators say Crow had the same backpack in both arrests. Between the two arrests, CSPD estimated the street value of the meth that was seized at almost $4,000 dollars. And according to online court records, Crow pleaded guilty April 30 to unauthorized use of a vehicle was sentenced to 14 months in a state jail.
