Two Bryan/College Station Residents Exploring A Run For Congress

A week after congressman Bill Flores of Bryan announced he is not seeking re-election, at least two Bryan/College Station residents are exploring the possibility of running.

Another is Bob Yancy, who is stepping down as the only chairman of the board of College Station’s Baylor Scott & White hospital in part because he is actively considering filing for the 17th district seat.

Another is Flores district director, James Edge.

The filing period for next year’s elections begins November 9.
