Two Brazos County Jail Inmates Accused Of Using Stolen Credit Card

Two Brazos County jail inmates are accused of using a stolen credit card to put money into their jail commissary accounts.

The victim notified the sheriff’s office last month of illegal charges totaling $369 dollars.

According to the arrest report, 20 year old Bonita Pennygraph of Bryan and 32 year old Kristan Hunter of Calvert shared a cell where deputies found handwritten notes showing the victim’s name, address, phone number, card number, expiration date, and security code.

Pennygraph is accused of giving that information to an unidentified third person who added money into the inmates accounts.

A notebook was also found in the cell the inmates shared, containing other people’s social security and credit card numbers.

Both women face additional credit card fraud charges, Pennygraph is also in jail on a parole violation charge, and Hunter was also arrested on warrants from McLennan and Bexar counties.
