Third Arrest In A Robbery And Assault Of Two Bryan Hotel Guests

A third arrest has been made from an armed robbery the weekend before last inside a Bryan hotel room.

19 year old Christian Wood is accused in the Bryan police report of tazing one of the victims an estimated 12 times.

That victim and a friend were also pistol whipped by a fourth person who is yet to be arrested.

Two brothers from College Station, 17 year old Jacob and 18 year old Joel Easom, are still in jail after they were arrested for participating in the assault and robbery March 12 at 2:30 in the morning at the Tru by Hilton.

The victims were in town from Tyler.

Wood, who is from Lindale…about 15 miles from Tyler…is out of jail after posting bonds totaling $100,000 dollars.

As of March 23, the Easom’s remain jailed in lieu of bonds of $100,000 dollars each.

The foursome is accused of taking cash, a handgun, and a small amount of marijuana.

Two men from Tyler were beaten and robbed inside their Bryan hotel room at 2:30 in the morning last Friday.

Two of four men accused of participating are in jail on armed robbery charges.

Two brothers from College Station, 17 year old Jacob and 18 year old Joel Easom, are in jail in lieu of bonds of $100,000 dollars each.

According to the Bryan police arrest reports, one of the victims received hospital treatment after being tazed an estimated 12 times by a third man.

Both victims were also pistol whipped by a fourth man.

The foursome is accused of taking cash, a handgun, and a small amount of marijuana.
