Two Arrests On Charges Of Filing False Police Reports

A Pearland man was arrested Friday on a charge of writing on a College Station restaurant receipt in February that he was a kidnapping victim. According to the College Station police department arrest report, a manager at the Dixie Chicken was given a receipt with the message “I need help I Got Kidnapped”. The man, who was tracked down with information from the receipt, told officers he was messing around and immediately apologized. 19 year old Vincent Oggerio is out of jail after posting a $5,000 dollar bond.

A Bryan woman is accused of calling 9-1-1 and sending Bryan police to her home on what turned out to be a false report. According to the BPD arrest report, 52 year old Carmen Diaz-Gonzalez lied about being assaulted during an argument in her kitchen. She is out of jail after posting a $2,000 dollar bond.
