Two Arrests On Domestic Violence Charges

A College Station man spent the weekend in jail following his arrests on charges of assaulting his girlfriend twice, then injuring two Brazos County sheriff’s detention officers. The victim, according to the arrest report from College Station police, accuses 24 year old Marlon Dockery Jr. of pushing her inside her apartment before forcing her to drive to his cousin’s apartment. During the drive, the victim says she had to stop her vehicle twice because Dockery tried to grab the steering wheel and cause a wreck. Outside the cousin’s apartment, the victim said Dockery struck, kicked, and slammed her to the ground before Dockery’s cousin intervened and drove her home. The woman was taken by E-M-S to an emergency room for treatment of her injuries. Dockery, who denied assaulting his girlfriend, is also accused of taking down two detention officers in what the arrest report from the sheriff’s office described as the shower processing room. Dockery, who wound up in the jail’s special housing unit, is held in lieu of bonds totaling $48,000 dollars. One detention officer was evaluated for a swollen and bleeding elbow, and the other officer for pain in a hand and elbow.

A College Station man goes to jail for the third time this year on charges of committing domestic violence crimes against the same victim. Three days before his 50th birthday, Morris McMillion was released from jail after posting a $25,000 dollar bond on a charge of violating a protection order for at least the third time. McMillon’s latest arrest followed College Station police responding to what the officer wrote in the arrest report was a fight at three in the morning in an apartment. McMillion is awaiting three trials in Brazos County district court on misdemeanor charges. Two accuse him of violating protection orders on August 14th and 25th. The third trial followed an arrest last April on a charge of family violence assault causing bodily injury.
