TPM in the CSISD

All public schools in Texas play by the same state rules when it comes to determining accountability ratings…which in many cases improves the campus classification.

Individual campus ratings receive the Texas Projection Measure, which College Station ISD Superintendent Eddie Coulson says is how the state calculates future student testing performance.

In CSISD, the TPM elevated the campus rating one notch on eight campuses. Four schools met their standard without the projection measure…Rock Prairie was exemplary, Forest Ridge and Cypress Grove were recognized, and Southwood Valley was acceptable. Timber Academy was not eligible for the TPM because it is on an alternative rating system.

Bryan ISD officials are calculating the impact TPM had on its campuses.
