PGA golfer Tiger Woods was involved in a single vehicle roll-over traffic collision Monday in Los Angeles County, according to the L.A. County Sherrifs Department.
The vehicle reportedly sustained serious damage and Woods had to be pulled from the wreck by the “jaws of life” before being transported to a local hospital by ambulance for his injuries.
Woods’ agent, Mark Steinberg, told Golf Digest that he is currently in surgery.

The 45-year-old Woods, widely regarded as one of the greatest golfers of all time, is currently tied for first in all-time PGA Tour wins, ranks second in men’s major championships and holds numerous golf records.
