July 6, 2018 update:
Last Saturday’s armed robbery inside a College Station home that ended with the murder of one of the occupants involved a drug buy.
That’s according to a College Station police arrest report released Friday involving one of the three men who are in jail.
A new charge against 20 year old Dashawn Taylor accuses him of tampering with evidence.
Taylor told investigators he took a double barrel pump shotgun from the home on Sara Drive.
It was one of a multiple number of firearms Taylor says he hid before he was arrested in Harris County on Tuesday and brought back to College Station.
A fourth and unidentified man sought by CSPD remains at large.
July 5, 2018 update:
Three of four men sought by College Station police on armed robbery and/or murder charges from an incident last Saturday are now in jail.
19 year old Deandre Lewis-Hudgen of Bryan was arrested on Tuesday and 20 year old Dashawn Taylor of College Station was arrested Wednesday on armed robbery charges.
According to Taylor’s arrest report, which was released this Thursday morning, he was identified by witnesses as the man who was involved in a struggle for a gun when a shot was fired that killed one of four victims inside a house on Sara Drive.
According to Hudgen’s arrest report, Hudgen and Taylor were visibly upset and crying after arriving at the home of Hudgen’s stepfather. And Hudgen told his stepfather he was involved.
The third man in jail, 20 year old Michael Comeaux of College Station, told investigators he was the getaway driver.
The fourth and unidentified suspect is still at large.

College Station police has arrested two more men on armed robbery charges from an incident that led to a murder last Saturday.
20 year old Dashawn Taylor of College Station was arrested Wednesday and 19 year old Deandre Lewis-Hudgen of Bryan on Tuesday.
According to Hudgen’s arrest report, the stepfather told police Hudgen and Taylor came to his home and were visibly upset and crying.
A fourth and unidentified man is still being sought.
None of the three men in jail have been identified in arrest reports as the one who fought for control of a gun with an occupant of the home who was shot and killed.
Taylor, Hudgen, and 20 year old Michael Comeaux of College Station were in jail Wednesday afternoon. According to online records, no bond has been set for Taylor, while bonds on Hudgen-Lewis and Comeaux’s bond are $500,000 dollars each.
According to Comeaux’s arrest report, he told investigators he drove the getaway car from the robbery and shooting on Sara Drive.
