According to the arrest report, 31 year old Joshua Jerome Harris admitted to having marijuana in his car. That led to a search where the officer found almost $1,100 dollars cash in various denominations and 19 grams of crack cocaine. WTAW News has asked BPD about the estimated street value of the crack. But according to the arrest report is enough to sell to at least 19 customers. In addition to posting bonds totaling $26,000 dollars, Harris paid more than $2,100 dollars in fines from six traffic cases to be released from jail.

A repossessed vehicle resulted in Bryan police making two arrests. BPD responded to the car lot following an anonymous report of methamphetamine being inside the vehicle. According to the arrest report, the driver confessed that meth found in a gum wrapper belonged to her. That led to the arrest of 26 year old Ashley Carter of Bryan, who five years ago was one of four people who pleaded guilty to federal charges of stealing mail. Carter was one of two passengers in a car who took her to the car lot to get her things out of the repossessed vehicle. The other passenger, 28 year old Devin Coleman of Bryan, was arrested on six warrants where he owes more than $3,300 dollars in fines for four traffic offenses and two misdemeanor cases.

Two College Station policemen seeing a SUV swerving on Southwest Parkway near Texas at three in the morning led to a traffic stop that ended in the driver being arrested on drug charges. WTAW News has asked CSPD about the estimated street value of two pounds of marijuana and five grams of cannabis resin. The arrest report indicated a large amount of cash was also found. How much money, was not disclosed. The driver told the officers her SUV always smells like marijuana because she, a friend, and an ex are all users. 28 year old Myra Padilla of College Station was arrested on drug charges and a passenger was picked up on a warrant for violating probation from a prior conviction for possessing marijuana.
